FOOD/BEVERAGE SAFETY

Are you planning on running a project/club/activity that involves preparing food or drinks for the RCHK community? (e.g. cooking classes, bake sales, making food to sell at a school event)

To help you ensure that you take every possible precaution to keep such food and drink in good condition, free from contamination and fit for human consumption, at least one member of your group needs to take part in a Food Safety Training session with Chartwells. It's then up to that person to deliver guidance to anyone else involved on the proper procedures.

If no one in your group or your supervisor has participated in food safety training you will not be allowed to distribute food/drinks. If you're unsure, please speak to your CAS/S&A Coordinator.

If you would like to attend a food safety training session, please contact Helen Yeung [email protected]
